Goals:

1186 Walnut Street is a proposed 35-unit,100% income-restricted, transit-oriented new construction rental development in the Newton Highlands. The project includes ground floor commercial space and is a block from the Newton Highlands Green Line station. The project will include 1 studio, 6 one-bedroom, 4 two-bedroom, and 1 three-bedroom unit reserved for households earning 30% of the Area Median Income (AMI); 10 one-bedroom, 5 two-bedroom, and 2 three-bedroom units reserved for households earning 50% of AMI; and 3 one-bedroom, 2 two-bedroom, and 1 three-bedroom unit reserved for households earning 80% of AMI.
