Campers participate in approximately 3 hours of badminton training and instruction each day. Coach and instructor Wee Tam and his assistants will teach beginner and intermediate participants the skills of badminton including grip, stroke development, movement around the court, singles and doubles play, and physical training to support badminton skills. Campers will play several games each day, and end the week with a friendly tournament.  Participants may sign up by week for one or both weeks.

August 17 - 21 and August 24 - 28 at Emerson Community Center

This camp is a half day program that runs from 8:30 am - 11:30 am and is for beginner and intermediate boys and girls going into grades 2 - 8.

 

Registration is available online at www.newtonmarec.com starting on January 28 for Newton residents.  Non residents may register starting March 1.
