Albemarle Acres is a summer day camp for children entering grades 1-5 in the Fall.  We will accept campers going into 6th grade if they have previously attended Albemarle Acres or have a younger sibling attending the same week of camp.

NEW LOCATION FOR THE SUMMER OF 2026 - Albemarle Acres is moving to the newly renovated Lincoln-Eliot school for the summer of 2026.  We have enjoyed our years at Franklin elementary school, but due to construction, we will be moving to Lincoln-Eliot this summer.  Lincoln-Eliot is located at 150 Jackson Rd in Newton.

Albemarle Acres runs Monday through Friday from July 6 - August 14 in 2026.  Campers are signed up by week for any number of weeks they are interested in.  Standard day (8:30 - 3:30) and extended day (8:00 - 5:30) hours are offered.

Campers are grouped based on the grade they are entering in the Fall and participate in a variety of activities with their group each day including sports, arts and crafts, inside games, gym, playground, language arts activities, STEM, special events, and more.  We will take a bus to Gath Pool for swimming 2 to 3 times each week.  Campers registered for 2 or more weeks at Albemarle Acres will get a summer swim membership to Gath Pool which can be used throughout the summer. 

Registration begins on Wednesday January 28, 2026 for Newton residents online at www.newtonmarec.com  Non residents can register starting March 1st if space is still available.
