The Jackson Homestead and Museum has one parking space for people with disabilities and an access ramp to the main entry.
The museum has exhibitions on two levels.
There is an accessible restroom on the first floor. Currently on display on the main floor:

The lower (basement) level is accessible by steep, carpeted stairs inside the building or by going around the outside of the building to the rear door. This floor is currently closed for renovation.
The second floor (which has rotating exhibits, currently Confronting Our Legacy) is accessible by carpeted stairs only. There are no restrooms on the second floor.
We are always happy to help any visitor without prior notification. However, we recommend that visitors who require assistance call 617-796-1450 in advance to alert staff, arrange for an ASL interpreter for public programs at the Jackson Homestead and Museum, or schedule a guided tour. Additional fees may apply.
