About Newton Corner

Newton Corner is a regionally oriented commercial center that includes the Crown Plaza Hotel built on air rights over the Massachusetts Turnpike. This villages location next to Exit 17 on the MassPike offers convenient connections to and from downtown Boston and Logan Airport; MBTA Express Buses make these trips accessible without a car. The Newton Corner Advisory Committee works in this village, which is also home to smaller-scale commercial uses along Washington Street near the border with Watertown.

Mayor Warren would like to know what you are thinking and how he can improve municipal services and enhance the quality of life in your village. This survey is the first step in a new initiative by Mayor Warren to increase dialogue between Newton residents, businesses, and City Government. Newton Corner Neighborhood Association - a neighborhood organization that provides information on the past, present, and future of the village.

Newton Corner Neighborhood Advisory Committee - Neighborhood advisory committees (NAC) in Newton's four CDBG target neighborhoods work with housing and community development staff on the development of the five-year Consolidated Plan and the Annual Action Plan. Their input is critical on identifying the needs in their neighborhood and developing priorities, strategies and projects that address those needs. The committees also serve in an advisory capacity for the implementation of projects in their neighborhood.
