Filling in a Piece of History

Coloring Pages Use Historical Images of Newton

For people at home in search of an activity with ties to Newton history, Historic Newton has created coloring pages from images of its two museums, the Jackson Homestead and the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds. Paintings from the collection are also transformed into images that may be colored with crayons, colored pencils, markers, or anything that people want to use.

The images on the web page are available for anyone to view, print, and begin coloring. Also included are the activity pages Historic Newton created for the place mats at Johnny's Luncheonette, which is currently closed for sit-down dining but still open for take-out.

Those who want to share their coloring pages are invited to take a picture and tag our Facebook and Instagram pages so we may share it. Happy coloring!
