Second Water Meter - Public Comment
November 14, 2014  The Board of Aldermen to take public comment on proposed amendments to the water rate structure to possibly include residential second water meters for outside water use and to create a new storm water rate structure based on a range of impervious surface.

Reminder to residents – The City’s overnight parking ban goes into effect on Saturday, November 15th
November 14, 2014  From November 15th through April 15th, parking for more than one hour is prohibited between the hours of 2:00 a.m. and 6:00 a.m. Please also take note of the increase in the fine to $25.00 for violating the overnight parking ban.

Fiscal Year 2015 Assessed Values
October 29, 2014  The Newton Board of Assessors announces that the public disclosure period for proposed fiscal year 2015 assessed values commences on October 29, 2014 and ends on November 12, 2014. The values have received Massachusetts Department of Revenue preliminary certification.
