This family-oriented exhibition looks at the connections between people and animals across Newton's history. From the dairy cows and horses the early residents relied on to the pets we cherish today, animals have assisted and inspired Newton residents for centuries. More





Newton Salutes! Green Decade/Newton: Celebrating 20 Years of Environmental Leadership 1990-2010

Green Decade/Newton is a non-profit organization which has become a vibrant part of the Newton community. What began in 1990 as a small grassroots environmental effort now includes more than 500 individual and family members, many business partners and student groups. In 2010, the Green Decade is celebrating the anniversary of its founding in 1990. Featuring photos and artifacts from the past two decades, Celebrating 20 Years of Environmental Leadership 1990-2010 showcases the Green Decade's rich history. About Newton Salutes!.
