Veteran's Open House: Game Show & Music Trivia August 1st, 2017

The Mayor’s drop-in Veterans Service Center Open House is open to both Veterans and their Spouse from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on the 1st Tuesday of each Month. In August, we will conduct our Open House on Tuesday August 1st, 2017, which will be held at 345 Walnut Street in Newtonville. We will have our Game Show and Music Trivia along with Pizza and refreshments to cool you off this Summer. Next month the Guest Speaker will be Newton Resident Dr. Stafford Cohen. He will be presenting the biographical story of Newton's own Dr. Paul Zoll. Dr. Zoll served as an Army physician from 1941 - 1946 and received both the Bronze Star and Legion of Merit. He later resumed his practice here at Beth Israel where he was instrumental in developing prototype heart devices. Dr. Cohen will have material and a slide show presentation to accompany his book on Dr. Paul Zoll.

Best & God Bless America …
