The Newton Senior Center is located on a public transit route. The #59 bus stops one block away. We are one block from the Framingham Line, Commuter Rail Newtonville Stop, as well.
From the North Take 128 South to exit 24 (Rte. 30) take right at end of exit. Follow Rte. 30 (Commonwealth Avenue) approximately 2.5 miles (9 sets of lights) to intersection of Commonwealth Ave. and Walnut Street. Take left on Walnut St., follow 7/10 of a mile. Senior Center is at 345 Walnut St. just before Rox Diner.
From the South Take 128 North to exit 21 (Rte. 16, Washington St.) take right at end of exit and follow Washington St. to Rte. 30 (Commonwealth Avenue) take right onto Commonwealth Avenue, go through 4 sets of lights to intersection at Walnut Street. Take left onto Walnut, follow 7/10 of a mile. Senior Center is at 345 Walnut Street, just before Rox Diner.
From the West Take Mass Pike East to Exit 14. Follow signs to 128 North. Immediately take exit 24 for Rte. 30 off 128 and follow same directions from the North.
From the East Take Mass Pike West to Exit 17, Newton Corner. Go straight at end of exit onto Washington Street. After the Sheraton Tara Washington St. forks, bear right at the fork. Follow Washington St. through 3 sets of lights. At 4th light take left onto Walnut St. The Senior Center is at 345 Walnut St., just after the Rox Diner.

Parking There are a limited number of parking spaces in the rear of the building. For additional parking take Philip Bram Way behind the Rox Diner to a municipal parking lot. There are 3, 6, and 12-hour meters available or find on-street parking wherever you can.
There is transportation available to the center for those Newton residents who need it.
