Current Affordable Housing Opportunities

From time to time, new affordable units in Newton are made available by the City of Newton and other agencies. If you would like to be notified when a unit is available, you may sign up for the Newton Affordable Housing List online, email housing@newtonma.gov or call the Affordable Housing Hotline at (617) 796-1730 with your name, address and email. You can also request an application for the Newton Homebuyer Programs from this email/hotline. The City of Newton Housing Office will provide notice about affordable housing opportunities in Newton to the people signed up on the Newton Affordable Housing List. If you are interested in a unit in a particular development, contact the developer who is listed on the signage at the project and inquire as to whether the project has affordable units and how you can be notified of when the units will be available. Please note that the City is not notified of every affordable housing opportunity in Newton.
