The mission of the Newton Housing and Community Development Program is:
To accomplish this mission, the City uses funds from three annual grants, totaling approximately $2.0 million, from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Please see below for information on the grants received and the intended uses of the funds.
In addition to these funds, the City and its nonprofit partners pursue other funds as appropriate to achieve the mission of the Housing and Community Development Program.
