Create rental housing for families of homeless veterans in an existing 2-family house, with a total of 5 bedrooms (a lower 2-bedroom unit and an upper 3-bedroom unit), permanently deed-restricted to remain affordable for households earning less than 80 percent of area median income.

 $300,000 Community Development Block Grant (federal housing funds managed by Newton)
 $50,000 Federal Home Loan Bank Board grant
 $50,000 Charlesbank Homes foundation grant
