Standard Day: 8:30 - 3:30

Extended Day: 8:15 - 5:30

It's like summer camp in the Winter!  Each day features a variety of activity choices and a fun special event.

Field Trip Camp for grades 3 - 6

Join us for a fun field trip each day.  Sports, arts and crafts and inside games will be offered before and after field trips.

#Phones Allowed: Middle School Media Literacy- February Vacation

A Co-Ed school break program for Newton Middle School students co-sponsored by

City Of Newton's Health & Human Services and Boys for the Better,

a Newton based non-profit dedicated to re-defining masculinity through Media Education,

where 6-8th graders will learn how to:
• Flip the script on negative media messaging, create their own social media voice,

boost self-confidence, and learn how to communicate more effectively with peers, parents, and teachers
• Form positive social relationships and learn new media literacy skills
• Identify strategies for better managing time spent on social media and

using digital devices, as well as practice healthy ways to manage their stress and emotional development
Students will spend time as a whole group learning new skills,

and in small, gender specific groups doing hands-on activities and group discussion.

Thundercats Sports School Vacation Program

           
Program Offering: "THUNDERCAT SPORTS JAM"
PROGRAM FLYER

 
Play, play, and play some more...the ultimate multi-sport program! Baseball, basketball, and soccer will be core sports in which some skills will be emphasized. But that's not all. Other sports mixed in include - flag football, floor hockey, volleyball, badminton, dodge ball, disc golf, whiffle ball, and kick ball. Unique games such as shark attack and safari will also be played. Program is coed, and every participant receives a t-shirt, and certificate of achievement.

COST:          $200.00 for 4 days
                      $60.00 single days

Children MUST be 7 years Old

  • Mail Application with check payable to City of Newton - Mail in registration run the risk of being closed out by the time the registration form is returned
  • On-line registration can be completed at  www.newtonmarec.com
  • No Extended Day during school vacation weeks.
