This holiday season you can pre-order farm-fresh and local items from your favorite farmers' market vendors and pick them up at City Hall on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving! There will also be last-minute items for purchase from fresh produce, to desserts and even hostess gifts.
The Thanksgiving Market supports those in need in the Newton community in two ways: 1) Participating vendors are donating their fees to the Newton Food Pantry for the purchase of holiday grocery gift cards by those at risk for hunger in Newton. 2) The Thanksgiving Market will be a Community Serving's "Pie In The Sky" pick up site. Just order pies online, and select Newton City Hall as your pick up site, and know that your donation will go toward delivering nutritious meals to those with critical illnesses. The pies are made and donated by Boston-area chefs.
We are grateful to the Village Bank, who is helping sponsor this special Thanksgiving Market!
