 How do I apply for financial Assistance?
A person may request a scholarship by filling out the scholarship application form. A copy of your most recent tax returns, or other appropriate paperwork, must be included with this form. If you have not yet filed your tax returns, you can attach a copy of your previous years returns until your current returns are complete. A tax return, or other appropriate documentation, must be submitted in order to receive a scholarship.
How do I register for camps?
Registration forms to last year’s campers are being mailed out on Monday January 21st and will be available online starting Wednesday January 23rd. The Camp Fair will be held on Sunday January 27, 2013 at Newton North from 12:00pm – 4:00pm. Registration will be accepted at the Camp Fair. Non residents may register for a program starting on March 1st. The appropriate form and fee must accompany each registration. Participants will not be registered without the appropriate form and fee. Registration is available online for some of our programs at Register on line here
What is an inclusion program?
The Newton Parks and Recreation Department works closely with the Newton Public Schools to provide inclusive summer programs. The Newton School Department is responsible for all summer placements. Please check with your school facilitator or special education team about this process.
What is your refund policy?
People canceling a program on or before May 15th will be given a refund of the program cost minus the $30.00 non refundable deposit per week. There will be no refunds issued for programs after May 15th.
