is extremely excited to be directing the Newton Summer Theater Camp this summer.  He brings with him many years of experience as an actor, director, musician, and performing arts educator.  He is currently the Theater Director at The Academy at Penguin Hall, an all-girls high school in Wenham, MA.  Originally, hailing from Springfield, MA he embarked on college and graduate studies in acting and a professional career as an actor.  He has been immensely fortunate to work with many theaters in Chicago and the midwest including The Lyric Opera, Chicago Shakespeare Theater, Goodman Theatre, and Milwaukee Repertory Theatre.  Pivoting to education has allowed him to bring his passion for theater to many hundreds of young hearts and minds and opened up a new chapter over the last few years. He is looking forward to bringing his wildly creative imagination to the stage with this incredible team and is very excited to engage with this age group, one that has an amazing and admirable ability to imagine with boundless confidence and joy.

is a vocalist, songwriter and educator best known for her diversity in music styles including musical theater, jazz, pop, and classical music productions. As a private vocal coach, Nevena works with students preparing them for musical theater auditions and major voice competitions.

Born and raised in Serbia, Nevena started her musical education at the age of 9 with piano and music theory lessons.  She performed and won various music competitions as a child. While still in high school, Nevena rose to the fame as a performer and finalist of the first season of "First Voice of Serbia". Since then, she’s been performing in front of 10,000 people all over Serbia and Europe.

Despite her growth and success in Serbia, Nevena decided to bring her musicianship and career to the next level. She came to Berklee College of Music in Boston to continue her studies. Soon after her arrival to Berklee, Nevena became very active as a lead performer at various concerts and venues. She performed next to the worldwide recognizable artists such as Tigran Hamasyan, Sheila Jordan, Theresa Thomason, Paul Winter and many others.
