Guidelines for Swim Registration
Registration for the Newton Parks and Recreation Department "Learn to Swim Program" can be accomplished either in person or on-line. If you choose the on-line option, you can do this from the convenience of your home, work or travel site 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

You may only register members of your immediate family the first date of any registration session. Immediate family means they live under your roof.
Once you have registered, you have locked up a spot and prevented someone from registering, if you change your mind and withdraw from the class, there will be a $25.00 per person administration fee for this withdrawal.
Newton Parks and Recreation, Gath Pool, Crystal Lake and North Indoor Recreation Center accepts payment by Check, Credit Card (Visa, Master Card) or Cash. Payment in full is due at time of registration, no registration will be accepted without accompanying payment in full.
Swim Lesson Registrations Sessions
Session 1 at North High Pool 11/10/12 through 1/19/13: Registration begins November 1. at 7:30 PM and continues nightly from 7:30-9:00 PM until all lessons are filled or you can register on-line click link below.

Lessons are held Saturday from 9:45 to Noon every 45 minutes or on Sunday from 10:45AM until 1PM every 45 minutes.
There will be No Classes Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Year Weekend or over Dr. King Holiday Weekend
Session 2 at North High Pool - 2/23/13 through 4/21/13: Registration begins February 3 at 7:30 PM and continues nightly from 7:30-9:00 PM until all lessons are filled.
Cost: $60.00 per person, Lessons are held Saturday from 9:45 to Noon every 45 minutes or on Sunday from 10:30AM until 1PM every 45 minutes.

Summer Session - 2013 - Registration begins June 4, 2013: Registration begins 3PM -6PM June 4, 6 & 8, 2013
Cost: $45.00 (we reserve the right to amend pricing as dictated by the annual budget)
Lifeguard Training Course Information: The Parks and Recreation Department will be offering a Lifeguard Training Course beginning March 17, 2013 from Tuesday and Wednesday Nights 6:30-9:30 PM. First Night is Pre-Test Only then class will be dismissed early.
Cost: $200 residents $220 non residents
Water Safety Instructor Course Information: The Parks and Recreation Department offers Water Safety Instructor Course beginning March 17, 2013 at the NNHS Indoor Pool. Course meets Sundays: 10AM to 5 PM
