Today, your support of Historic Newton is more crucial than ever. In 2014, Historic Newton opened a second museum, the restored Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds. With an educational wing extension, this new museum tells the story of land, liberty, and leadership over three centuries. Historic Newton also continues to operate the Jackson Homestead and Museum, a former stop on the Underground Railroad and now Newton's local history museum, featuring permanent and rotating exhibits.
Be a part of preserving Newton's history! Your donation
supports operation of both museums, maintenance of Historic Newton's collections of artifacts and documents, and Historic Newton's many educational events and programs for children and adults.
