Extensively researched by our terrific garden volunteers, over fifty new heirloom plants have been added to our backyard. They are all species sold in the 19th century by the Kenrick Nurseries, the largest and longest running nursery in New England. The nursery once covered 133 acres and was located at the site of our new museum.
Know anyone interested in joining the fun? Pass it on! We are looking for researchers, gardeners, and anyone who enjoys helping in historic gardens. Call 617-641-9142 to find out more.
