A double card -- monochrome lithograph of a panoramic view of the Charles basin showing the Norumbega boathouses and Pavilion in the left half and the Metropolitan Police boathouse in the right, with several canoes in the water in the foregrounds and couples on the bank. The card is marked "Copyright 1905 by the Rotograph Company." The viewpoint from the western end of the Weston bridge must have presented an obvious photo opportunity -- many postcards show about this same view (map).
Like so many of the double cards this one has become separated through wear. The back is clean except for the Jackson Homestead stamp. Postcard type: Undivided Back Publication Date: 1905
