Newton History Gallery

The Newton Salutes! Exhibits program offers Newton civic, social, community, religious, and athletic organizations the opportunity to share their history with the public.  We provide exhibit space to community organizations who design and create their own exhibits about their history to be displayed for four months at the Jackson Homestead and Museum.  Staff members are available to consult with your organization’s exhibit planners, and will publicize your exhibit in Historic Newton’s newsletter and calendar of events.  In addition, we will schedule a special preview party or opening for your members and friends.

Historic Newton invites Newton organizations to submit an application for the Newton Salutes! Program.  Your application should include a brief description of the exhibit topic, materials, and photos.  Once a proposal is accepted, exhibition dates will be finalized.

For a new proposal for or for more information about Newton Salutes!, please contact Melissa Westlake at 617-796-1450.
