Tupelo Junction Concert

Modern Folk and Bluegrass Quartet
Performed February 11, 2018

We had a lively concert of modern folk and bluegrass music with Tupelo Junction on Sunday, February 11 and 2:30 p.m. at the Durant-Kenrick House and Grounds, 286 Waverley Avenue.

Tupelo Junction is a modern folk and bluegrass quartet that also dabbles in roots and country. Featuring Conor Fortin, Sarah Gordon (who grew up in Newton and graduated from Newton North), Whit Hall, and Corey Fein, the band plays everything from jigs to hoedowns, bringing their own style to classic folk and bluegrass songs from America's early settlers as well as to contemporary folk tunes. Their three-part harmonies and fiddle breakdowns will inspire you to laugh, cry, and maybe dance, too.
