Yard waste collection begins March 25th and will end on December 13th, weather permitting. View the yard waste guidelines.

The City of Newton will be hosting a paper shredding and drug take-back event on Saturday, April 27th from 8:00am-12:00pm at the Newton Resource Recovery Center, located at 115 Rumford Ave. For more information or to reserve a drop off time, call 617-796-1660.

Due to the snow storm on March 4th, there will be no trash/recycling collection. A one-day delay in trash/recycling collection will be in effect this week for all Newton residents. Additionally, the Resource Recovery Center at Rumford Avenue will be closed on March 4th.
