Keeping Newton Beautiful

In an effort to enhance the quality of life, Mayor Setti Warren has started a new beautification program, coordinated by the Division of Environmental Affairs in the Department of Public Works.


Mission Statement:
To initiate, promote, coordinate and implement quality beautification projects within the village, city street, and open space areas. To improve the appearance of Newton for people who have invested their lives here and for people visiting in conjunction with citizens, schools, community-based organizations, and businesses.

News ImageUPDATED: Holiday Collection Schedule for 2015
December 16, 2014  Trash and Recycling will be collected the day after your regular scheduled collection day for the following City holidays.
Curbside Collection for Yard Waste Ends this Week
December 8, 2014  If you have yard waste to dispose of, please place curbside in paper yard waste bags or barrels prior to 7am on your regular collection day. After the end of this week, Yard Waste collection will resume in the spring. For more information, click here.
