In accordance with Massachusetts General Law Chapter 271 Section 7A all organizations holding a raffle or bazaar as a fundraiser must obtain a Permit to conduct a Raffle and/or Bazaar from the City of Newton.

Please Note: The application process has several steps and once your paperwork is submitted, it will take approximately 2 weeks to process. Please plan accordingly. Once issued, your permit will be good for one year from the date of issue.
The application fee is $10.00. Check should be payable to the City of Newton, or you may pay cash or credit card in the Clerk's Office.
*Raffles & Bazaars must submit a green slip from the Mass Lottery/Charitable Gaming Department. It is only available from the City Clerk's Office.
*EACH responsible member of the organization must complete a notarized "Declaration of Qualified Applicants" form which is included in the Raffle & Bazaar Application Packet.
