There are four Neighborhood Advisory Committees for the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) Neighborhood Improvement Program: Nonantum, Newton Corner, West Newton, and Newtonville. Each Neighborhood Advisory Committee typically meets four times per year in various locations throughout the City.

The Newton Upper Falls Historic District Commission generally meets either in the (City Hall) Planning Dept. Conference Room or in the Cafeteria.

The Newton Upper Falls Historic District Commission (NUFHDC) meets on the 2nd Thursday of each month.

The Chestnut Hill Historic District Commission (CHHDC) meets on the 3rd Thursday of each month.

The Newton Historical Commission (NHC) meets on the 4th Thursday of each month.

The Newtonville Historical Commission meets on the first Thursday of each month in Room 202.

The Auburndale Historical Commission meets on the second Tuesday of each month.

Newton Housing Partnership
The Newton Housing Partnership meets the second Wednesday of every month at 7:45 a.m. in City Hall Room 209. The Housing Partnership has two sub-committees, the Project Review Sub-committee and the Policy Sub-committee, which meet on an as needed basis.
