Immunizations

Aside from seasonal flu and pneumonia vaccination clinics, the Health Department does not provide immunizations. Residents should contact their primary care physician or pediatrician to receive immunizations.

The Health Department provides influenza vaccinations to residents over age 60 and those with chronic medical conditions during its annual public flu clinics held in the fall.

The 2008-09 seasonal flu clinic schedule will be announced in the fall pending vaccine availability. Please check back then.

Pneumonia clinics are typically held in the fall and winter for residents over age 65. Call 617-796-1420 for more information.
